Formerly Bioindustrial Technologies, Inc. (BTI), BTI Products, LP is an independent consulting and product manufacturing firm specializing in solutions to microbial and corrosion problems, including MIC, in industrial systems.  Since 1984, BTI Products has assisted global clients in solving microbial and corrosion problems in reliable, cost-effective, and easy-to-implement ways.  Through innovation and attention to quality, BTI Products’ diagnostic and mitigation methods have repeatedly set industry standards.   

Our clients often notice that our approach to diagnosis and treatment of microbial and corrosion problems is different from that of our competitors.  Our belief—backed by scientific data and years of field research—is that problems must be investigated in the field where they are occurring.  Sending samples back to a laboratory for analyses simply does not provide accurate results, since many microbial and chemical factors can change drastically within a matter of minutes.  That's the reason we developed our proprietary microbiological media and MICkit® test kits.  Both our media and MICkits® are designed specifically for use by field personnel and allow them to perform testing on site for the most accurate, reliable results.  We offer a full line of diagnostic products to meet the specific testing needs of a variety of industries.

Because of our extensive work with real-world industrial personnel, we also recognize a need for inventive, facility-specific testing, treatment, and prevention methods.  For this reason, we have developed patented treatment devices, treatment chemicals, and monitoring products and processes for several industries.  Our most recent patent is for the MICtreat™ FPS System which automatically treats fire protection water to prevent deposit-formation, MIC, and other forms of corrosion.
